I used Smith and Noble to outfit my home with custom blinds a few years ago. I recently contacted Smith and Noble regarding a warranty issue with some blinds. I spoke with Angela Balles. She was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and very helpful. She went "above and beyond". She was very nice too. She was able to provide a replacement for the blinds that I was having problems with. At a time where customer service seems to be non-existent at many businesses, it was very refreshing to actually receive excellent customer service from Angela Balles and Smith and Noble. Thank you very much! I am definitely a satisfied customer.

Synthia Nugent was very patient and professional during all of our communications regarding the valance for my blinds. She followed through with all suggestions and recommendations and I appreciate her diligence while taking me through the process. The blinds are beautiful, just like I wanted.

I am a long time customer of Smith and…

I am a long time customer of Smith and Noble, and while I wanted to place the order online, I ended up on a phone call with Kim Demazeliere who gave me amazing customer service. She was patient, she corrected all of our needs for window coverings in an old house, she took photos from me to review, and called me back when we were disconnected. This is exactly why I go back to Smith and Noble when we need window coverings. Great customer service! Thank you Kim!

Faulty Shade

After installing a shade in my bathroom I was disappointed to find it would not stay down. I spoke with service agent Brendie Bischoff who analyzed the fault and initiated a replacement be made and dispatched in double quick time.
I could have asked for nothing more.
Exceptional service!!

Great product, great service

I have often ordered from Smith and Noble but this time the customer service was outstanding! Michael Hartshorn was my designer, who I reached via the 800 number. I explained what I wanted, sent him a couple pics of my windows, and he completed the order, including measuring and installation, within 2 weeks.

Poor Product Quality. Poor Customer Service.

I ordered 8 powered honeycomb blinds and they've been in my house for 16 months. Four of the eight have quality issues. On one, the motor no longer accepts a charge. On two, the cords have broken. On the 4th, the charge cord has been pushed up behind the valence by the motion of the shade and is unreachable. 4 out of 8 is a .500 batting average and should be considered unacceptable for any professional product.
When I contacted customer service, they tried to link in the troubleshooting team but they were in training so we set up a call back appointment the next day. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the call back during the appointment time (thanks for wasting my time), so I had to call them back. The troubleshooting guy agreed that they are broken and need replacement. When I asked about the rate of failure, the customer service representative told me that there was a 6 month period where they had an unusual rate of failure in the motors and that they have since gone to a new motor. They have also discontinued manufacture of my particular model (I wonder why?). So mine will need to be factory refurbished, but because they are out of full warranty by 4 months, I will need to pay for the packing materials, shipping, and installation charges (two-way, since it is a factory refurbishment). Note: for a known manufacturing flaw on their part. Obviously I am not happy about the quality of the product nor about the customer service. I have asked to speak with management about the issue and they are scheduled to call me back in the next 24 to 48 hours. We'll see if they bother to keep the appointment this time.
Update: Management did call back and they agreed to pay for the packing materials and the shipping back and forth as long as I did the installation myself. Nominally happier than I was, but given the failure rate, I feel like my other 4 blinds are on death row, waiting for the executioner to throw the switch.

Richard: excellent service.

Richard was my service representative. It was the end of the work day, I needed help making changes and decisions. He was patient, very informative and clear in describing the sheer shades. I was unable to purchase my choice, would not work in my window, Richard informed me of an alternative, which I like more. I have purchased solar shades for a previous home. The quality is first rate. I am looking forward to the sheer soft shades for my large living and dining room windows. Thank you Richard, excellent job.

Amazing Quality & Service with Candis!

Candis was absolutely fabulous to work with. As a first time home owner I didn't have a clear vision for what I wanted. Candis was patient and sent multiple iterations of samples and pictures so we could truly envision what our design will look like. 10/10!

Patricia was great helping us pick out what was right for our home. Neil did a great job installing and Della McCoy was amazing helping us set up our schedules and all our app questions! So polite and helpful. Very happy overall!
